It's an Oliver Stone movie, which is why I picked it up. 

This October seems kind of light for Halloweeny releases.  Kind of disappointing.  They could be milkin my tits.

Spider-Man 2 blows.  The first movie is the only one worthwhile out of the 3.

Spider-Man 2 is especially the definition of a missed opportunity.  It had a bit of the zeitgeist going, but even with all of the origin stuff out of the way in the first movie, SM2 takes like fucking half the entire movie to roll its ass out of bed.  We watched the fucking first movie, we don't need a half hour of build before we see Spidey bust shit up.  Also, Spidey/Peter and MJ were intolerable in the movie.  Doc Oc was the only non-awful character.

Spider-Man was the origin movie, and it really nailed everything it was supposed to.  Even Kirsten Hack Dunst couldn't bring it down. . .much.  Her buttertroll head tried.  The first movie was also a notch or two campier than the second, but that's more acceptable than the mopey emo shit the second movie brought unnaturally and en masse.  I believe the third movie tried to bring back that campiness, but combined with the ultra-emo that had mutated from the second movie, it just made the movie's tone completely absurd.

So, the first movie is the best, and the second two are both so terrible that it's not worth the effort to differentiate.

Yeah, the CD was 2 disk so naturally they charge more - they had it for $22. Fucking Borders, they used to be the cheapest around here and had a reasonably good dance section. Now they are expensive and don't have much of anything :(
