Lolz, you guys cant read:
Necroscope by Brian Lumley

Just finished Necroscope (for the 4th time lol) yesterday. Honestly of the original Necroscope trilogy (necroscope, vamphyri, the source) this one is probably my least favorite. There's just a lot of exposition in this volume, and not enough ASS KICKIN. However its essential to read it before the other two books.
The trilogy ends with The Source and omg awesome extra dimensional ESPionage, VAMPIRE SLAYIN ACTION! WOO! After that the series DOES continue, but it changes quite a bit... However one thing I can say is it re-writes the ann rice bullshit vampire mythos nicely.
I wanna look into the spinoff series covering the sons of the main character fromt he necroscope series, but I am not sure where to start.
Just started reading:
Shaman's Crossing by Robin Hobb
Only half a chapter in, started reading it yesterday evening. Its been a while since i've read the Farseer trilogy but since then I havent really encountered a writing style like Robin Hobb's. Its actually really refreshing to read her work again, and so far Shaman's Crossing has that same effect of presenting a fantasy environment that has enough 'real' to keep things grounded and different.
Anyway I really liked the Farseer Trilogy so im pretty sure I will like this new one. I really need to get around to reading the Tawny Man Trilogy too...
La Grande Armee by Georges Blond and Marshall MayAnd as always I am picking here and there at this book. Haven't got to the war in spain yet, just wrapping up the prussian campaign.
