I say yes, MAF and Drinky say no.

Note that MAF and Drinky have questionable taste and truly believe they should be able to keep black people as pets.

The first couple seasons of Cheers are pretty good. Anything pre-Kirstie Alley for the most part.

Its not so much the dinner sausage as breakfast sausage. When I eat more than two patties of breakfast sausage, the mere thought of eating a third makes me sudder and convulse. Eating a third makes me wanna feel sick and makes the sides of my jaw sort of have that tingling feeling I have right before vomiting.

Frasier wasn't good. It was marginally better than most of the other contemporary sitcoms, but beating out Veronica's Closet only gets you so far.

I think Friends is whiter than Frasier. A show set in Seattle having nothing but honkeys isn't a big stretch, but Friends' Stormfront.org version of New York City is way more melanin-deficient than reality.

Any critic who referred to the show as smart can be safely ignored. It used the most basic possible plot and joke structures, but since it implied the characters were smart, plenty of people who were paid to evaluate television shows assumed the writers really were smart. Boggle.

I don't think Fraiser is crap, not when you compare it to other sitcoms out there. It's not something that I would ever go out of my way to watch, but like Friends, it's mildly entertaining as backround noise.

Admittedly, I hate the American sitcom formula. I loved NewsRadio, but I'm hard-pressed to think of any other sitcoms I liked excluding atypical stuff like The Office.

On the other hand, I'm a total chump for BBC comedies, with their stuffy-Londoner-inna-suit-saying-bugger formula.
