so here's the deal. ever since I finished my compiler project, I've been having a lot more success with girls, by which I mean that usually if I go into a bar or coffeehouse I'll meet a girl and get her number to put into my cellphone and never call, or a few times we've gone back to her apartment for random makeout sessions, etc. as someone who never kissed a girl until 24 and still has never been on a date, this is pretty surreal, and I have no idea why it's happening as when I look in the mirror I see the same scuzzy acne-scarred face as always. do women find compiler writers irresistible?
anyway, I'm sure if I actually try to go on dates and have an actual relationship and/or sex, etc. it'll all blow up in my face, but if possible I'd like to head this off at the pass before things get that far. I think I'm doing pretty well right now by objectifying the various women I've met into the faceless abstraction of 'girls' who exist only to gratify either my ego or my masochism, and of course by posting about this on a game forum, but does anyone have further tips?
