Guys, GAffots are saying it got delayed until November 13th.
I'm not attacking the gameplay, but I agree with Drohne. The low rez sprites are really not doing anything for me. I haven't played a KOF game since KOF '95 which still remains one of my favorite fighting games.
You haven't even played THE AMAZING AWESOME SUPER BEST EVER KOF '98?? WHAT THE FUCK?
GET THE FUCK OUT OF HERE. NEXT.what gameplay?
all i see is low res. sprites...

don't hurt me MAF

YOU SHALL FEEL MY WRATH. THOU ART HEREBY BANISHED FROM THE GAMING FORUM UNLESS THEY REPENT IS NOW.Three things:
1. I'm buying this regardless of whatever is underneath this line.
2. Does this game have On-Line? It said so in the Jap. trailer but I dunno about the U.S.
3. Will the 360's VF5 stick work for this?
The Japanese version does have online play, yes, but not the U.S. version. The online is via a KDDI pay service in Japan. I've never tried it before, but virtually every SNK fighting game released in the last three years or so has had online play. SNK is slowly releasing collections of all the Neo-Geo fighting games for PS2 under the Online Collection banner. World Heroes Gorgeous just came out last week.
Are Fatal Fury Battle Archives and/or Art of Fighting Anthology still available, too?
I got the last copy of FF at my local Gamestop, but then again, it might have been the only copy. I still haven't seen a new copy of AoF anywhere (I gots me a used one from someone who treats their cases like floormats).
THANKS SO MUCH SNK I LOVES YOUS GUYS SO MUCH!!!!
What's in Fatal Fury Battle Archives? Is MotW in there?
Fatal Fury Battle Archives Volume 1 contains all the old, outdated Fatal Fury games. You get FF1, FF2, FFS, and FF3. Fatal Fury Special is fun in that old-school SF2 kind of way, but I pretty much wouldn't bother with this collection unless you're a huge FF fan.
Fatal Fury Battle Archives Volume 2 is much, much better and contains Real Bout Fatal Fury, Real Bout Special, and Real Bout 2. These games have held up and play (and look/animate) much better than the older games. I'd recommend this game whenever it comes Stateside.
Garou MOTW was a standalone release that came out a year before FFBA did. I don't understand why SNK USA hasn't brought this out, but then I don't get what took them so fucking long to get these other games out Stateside. Europe got NGBC last year IIRC, and KOF XI already too, from Ignition Entertainment.
What SNK should be doing is releasing all these games as standalone, downloadable ROMs on the PSN, XBLA, and VC (Which they started doing for the latter). Online play would also be quite nice. I'd like to see more than just FFS and SS2 on XBLA.
