I've only played a Wii outside of a EB once. Shit, I've only SEEN a Wii once outside of an EB. I have no urge to ever play Wii Sports again.

Apparently, a younger brother of a friend bought one recently, though. My friend says he just plays Mario on it.

Tiger Woods Golf is good too, takes an hour or so to get into and the swing controls are borked but once you suss it all out theres quite a deep game in there. Tons of options.

My friend bowled a perfect game in Wii bowling and started jumping up and down and turning red

wii sports is mostly good for multiplayer.  I hate how you're supposed to do better than your last try or else you rank down a lot.

Co-worker of mine wants to buy a Wii for his brothers and sisters for Christmas but he doesn't want to support Nintendo and their waggle future.  :lol

As far as I'm concerned, Nintendo is playing a totally different game from the rest of the industry. My Mom hasn't purchased a console or played a game since the NES. She's playing Wii, not videogames.

Wii Bowling is really awesome but the other Wii Sports games feel far too barebones. I still think Kororinpa is the best 'casual' game for the system, so simple to pick up and play, and yet so challenging to master. Everybody I've shown the game to loved it, and these are people who normally play Gears of War, Starcraft, PC RTSes, etc.

yea kororinpa is actually one of the better games on the system, a shame no one really knows about it.

My high score on bowling was 248.  The first time i played it.  Never touched it again.

A friend of mine mastered Wii bowling, he had some game breaking technique where he'd bowl in the 280s or better every time. After I saw that I packed away Wii Sports forever.

I haven't touched Wii Sports once. I think I will be embarassed even playing it in my room, with the door shut, and the blinds down.

Wii bowling actually improved my real life bowling.  I really like batting in Wii Baseball, but I am not sure if any of the sims on Wii have done the same batting interface as well.
