so I went ahead and picked up an hd dvd addon for the 360 on sunday because of the deal they were having and I get 5 free HD DVD's. Below are my choices (you can only pick one from each pool)...

Pool #1
Aeon Flux
Babel
The Italian Job

Pool #2
The Hulk
Pitch Black
The Thing

Pool #3
Charlie and the Chocolate Factory
Swordfish
Full Metal Jacket

Firewall
The Frighteners
U2: Rattle and Hum

Note: I don't currently own any of these on HD DVD.

best buy gave me 5 free hd dvd's (choices above

) and heroes season 1 on hd dvd.

you could easily take all 6 to wal mart or something and get some hd dvd's you really want.

Pool 1: I haven't seen Aeon Flux but I heard it was bad. Babel is garbage. I'd say Italian Job.

Pool 2: Pitch Black is kind of meh but it's better than Chronicles of Riddick if you liked that. I haven't seen The Thing (never knew about it) so I don't know about that. I actually kind of liked The Hulk.

Pool 3: I assume Charlie and the Chocolate Factory is the remake one so don't support hollywood cash-ins, if it's not a remake then it'll be old and probably not worth HD quality. Swordfish is pretty crap BUT Halle Berry titties. You said you wanted FMJ so that makes sense.

Pool 4: Don't know about any of these.

Pool 5: Troy is just a bunch of sweaty men wearing loin cloths. Never saw Darkman. I liked Black Rain but it is not a great movie.

It's better than anything on that list. I'd be embarassed to own a POS like The Italian Job. There's so many better heist movies than that one, and I hate Marky Mark. The only good thing it has going for it are the Mini Coopers.

the nudity was bad and the movie's premise and dialog were horrible. it was basically crash with pubic hair.

there's no reason to get it in HD anyways. mupepe, I doubt you'd like the movie but even if it was something you'd be willing to watch over and over again, which it'd have to be if you're getting it on a disk, then just download it and see what it's about.

the original hd release of full metal jacket was deinterlaced from a 1080i master and has some image problems -- they've actually just released a new 'deluxe edition.' it's probably the best movie on that list, but skip it anyway
