Yeah! My secret santa was scenester. At first I was confused as to who had sent it, then I remembered that New Zealand was not in EUROPE and all was well. Got some awesome shit, but book is probably the best, but im sure it'll be nice finally seeing Twin Peaks and loling at Once Were Warriors:

sweet, glad you liked it. I saw that book in a 2nd hand bookstore and thought hey MAF likes scotch lol. That *was* my personal copy of the 1st series of Twin Peaks.... Ive watched it like 5 times so I thought I'd pass the love on, I subtly checked if MAF had it or not in a Black Books thread haha. And I know how much he likes TV series' on DVD. Apparently its the superior DVD set that includes the pilot episode too...

Once Were Warriors is a grey area.... I mean theres a lot of humor but a lot of pretty full-on shit... its pretty different from anything else out there anyways.

Im not normally a fan of xmas cards but I quite liked that one, picture is of the Mt Victoria area in Wellington, my hometown. Spent a lot of time around there in my lifetime

but yeah glad you liked my gift! I wasnt sure how good it was becuase the shit I got from dcharlie set the bar pretty high lolz

I'm sorry about the size being too large - I went through most of your post history but I couldn't find any mention of what size you wore, and I couldn't think of a way to get you to post it without blowing the Secret Santa gig. Do you think you could wear a size medium, since the shirts are fitted Tees? If so, I can send you a couple of mediums. We have the Anti-Socialite shirt in small in several different colors, but it's printed on lesser quality shirts (these were a test run for a budget line we'll be doing).

I was having a struggle with your gift. I had to keep a close eye on the "what did you buy?" threads, haha. I actually bought you Die Hard on Blu Ray but returned it when I saw you already had it, and then I was going to get you Paprika but you already bought it, and when I asked my friend who's into anime about Gundam stuff he just kind of shook his head and said there's so much stuff out there there'd be no way of telling what you had or didn't have without asking.

Anyway, hope you enjoy COD3. Pay no attention to the internet haters (most of whom I'd be willing to bet never even played it), it's a solid game.

Look up "Hally", that guy is fucking AMAZING!!! See if you can find any videos of him performing at the Blip Festival in NYC (I can't search for you right now unfortunately b/c youtube is blocked at work

also, since it's almost christmas, i wanted to post a short update:

i realize that some people had problems with the mail and/or sent their presents out late, and some of them will not arrive in time for christmas. however, if you do not receive your gift by the 7th of january, please PM me.

there won't be any penalties handed out at that time, i just want to be able to keep track of who's still missing a gift.

Arriving in my mailbox today were Neon Genesis Evangelion, Scrapped Princess, and Saikano. I've seen a few episodes of Evangelion, and always thought it was kind of interesting so I'm excited to flesh out that experience. Evangelion is required watching, and Scrapped Princess is one of the best things to come out of Japan in the last ten years. Saikano, well, it's Saikano.
