I'll definitely pick Lost Odyssey over FFXIII
as far as graphics and presentation go, no one can beat Square and their enormous teams of extremely talented artists
however, I fear that it's going to be a very solid game, but that it will also feel too generic, Square plays too safe these times around
LO is Sakaguchi's project and he does whatever the hell he wants with it; as a result, it looks like such a breath of fresh air; the themes are way more serious and mature, and not corny at all... it gives me FFVI vibes.. hell, he even says that he has benevolent aspirations with this game, and that he seeks to improve his fans' lives, to make them examine their existence when they play this
about the PS3 and 360, I dunno, so far both platforms have entertained me about the same... but even though there's a bunch of upcoming 360 exclusives that I can't see myself living without, there seems to be about twice if not more PS3 exclusives that I desire when it comes to future titles
also, what's the deal with the songs, are they shortened or not? the introduction and battle songs were both trimmed down a bit in Sakaguchi's demo, and the older, longer versions were better
wtf, can't believe I'm the only person to have noticed that, no one ever talked about that in any of the Lost Odyssey threads @ GAy
