I'd love to see him as President because it seems like he actually cares, even if I don't agree with some of his choices. People love him too so I don't think he'd even have a problem (if it was effin legal!). He doesn't seem like he's out to screw the average person.

He's one of my favorite republicans, up there with Hagel. But honestly, Arnold is mainly conservative in terms of economics - ie he knows how to stimulate business.

This news makes me want to troll Prison Planet, ie "Arnold is a well known Nazi and wants to kill you".com

MAF: Well, to be fair, 3 of the candidates are in a deadlocked Senate which is running up against the veto anyway, and the other four are former officeholders. There really isn't much they can do, other than talk.

Plus, I try to never vote on whether I think a candidate is a good person, or "really cares", or something like that. It's too easy to overestimate my ability to judge those things with someone who I'll never meet.

I like a lot of what Arnold's doing, but I think it's mostly because all his ballot initiatives got smacked down a couple years ago, so he had to make nice with the Democrats. Which is basic politics, but still puts him ahead of some other guys. When Maryland had a Republican governor, he didn't do anything besides butt heads with the Dem legislature for four years.
