Did I ask too much for this stuff on ebay?
« on: October 25, 2007, 01:57:23 AM »
My ebay listings tonight:

Heroes HD-DVD new, sealed - $54.99 w/free shipping

Heavenly Sword new, sealed - $49.99 free shipping

Bioshock 360 used - $39.99 $2 shipping

I think I might have panicked a little after dropping all that money in the past week or so

Yea probably. I always start a little lower on ebay to ensure a sale.

Also why are you listing stuff as $X.99
Are you walmart or something. That shit is gay on ebay.

If none of it sells I'll drop the price a bit

And I don't know why I list stuff at $X.99, just habit I guess - no one's ever complained before

Probably to offset the charges ebay gives, I'm not exactly sure why either...

Is $200 for a PSP in mint condition, 12 games, 2 movies, a gig mem stick, and a fuckload of accessories a fair price?

more of a hassle, but lisitng them seperately will make you much more.  at least do so for the more expensive games.

i've found that amaon is usually better for selling games and DVDs.  also a good place to check out a rough market price

Um it's a fucking steal, I would buy that in an instant

Jack up the price if you are including 12 games, and a hackable PSP (all fatties are hackable at this point)

I would aim near 300, depending on the games

Well, I have no idea what stuff like this goes for, but since you do, I'll let you set the price for me, demi:

1 PSP Fat, nearly flawless with the exception of a slight scratch at the very bottom of the screen (you have to tilt it in the light to see it, and it in no way shows when playing), all manuals and the box

A 1 gig Mem stick

2 cases - a large case which can carry the PSP + a bunch of games and accessories, and a smaller zip-up

A car adapter

one of those grip things that make it look like a PS2 controller

Charging stand

That MGS Armor promo still in the box

Two slip-on carry covers (I bought all these accessories on clearance for next to nothing)

GAMES:

Puzzle Quest
MOH Heroes
COD: Roads to Victory
Capcom Classics Collection Remixed
EA Replay
Loco Roco
Lumines (I think you can hack a PSP fat with this?)
Activision Hits Remixed
Sega Genesis Collection
X-Men Legends II
Sid Meier's Pirates

(guess I only had 11 games)

You can hack a PSP fat regardless now, but before that Lumines was a hot commodity, people paid $50 for it, maybe people still do

A PSP Slim comes with a 1GB and a movie and a game, and more features and such, and I think it's $180 out of the box, so you're gonna have to sweeten the deal with the 12 games and your trinkets.

Mention what firmware version it is, people who want to hack their fatties want to know. Be sure to mention this in conjunction with Lumines. Simply say you weren't interested in homebrew, but for those who are willing and have the know-how, they have access to it. PSP Homebrew is a system seller, so I'm repeating myself here but try to hammer this home.

I'd say try and pawn it all off for $250 (still a killer amount for what you get) to 275, 235 if you really want to play it safe

You can beef it up with over-charging for Shipping, but I'm sure they won't notice... teehee

Why not?  I thought you said that the extra ram helps with emulation of older systems.  Also, do PSP games load faster off the memory stick because of the extra ram?

* The 1.5 kernel is nixed, which is what a lot of homebrew runs off
* The source code for programs aren't released, so people can't update them to the 3.x kernel
* The added RAM apparently isn't as useful as people assumed, at least I certainly haven't seen any claims

So you can't play Snes games on the slim?  I guess that would be a big reason for most people to keep their fatties.

I think I might sell Lumines separate, or break it all up.  I can get $40 for lumines alone, still, and most of the games go for 10-15 a piece.  How much would you ask for The system and accessories (and two umd movies, ha) and one throw-in game?
