I saw about an hour of the movie, and it was horrible.

There's this part where Ash is attacked by these miny versions of himself, and they start poking his eyes/tripping him/etc; typical Bugs Bunny shit. Then one of them drops a pot of hot grits on his head, at which point he runs around. WTF is this?

Sam Raimi has a great love of The Three Stooges, which explains much of the slapstick humor found in AOD.
