Worst customer service experience yet

So I went to Best Buy this morning to get my 2 free hd dvd's and to pick demi up a player. 

First, store says it opens at 9am.  They didn't open the doors til 9:10.  *grumble grumble*  I can deal with that.

I get to the counter, tell the guy that I saw the correction and already spoke to customer service.  He says he needs his Supervisor.  She comes over so I tell her about the correction and tell her I spoke to Customer Service last night and I get this "Well who did you talk to?  It wasn't me.  I was here last night" and I was like "uhhhhh 1 888 best buy?" 

So then she proceeds to tell me I don't know what I'm talking about and that the deal is only for the Toshiba standalone and that I don't get to pick the movies.  So I pull out a print out of the Best Buy internal memo and point it out.  She gets fucking livid.  She gets an attitude and says "What?  Are you a Best Buy employee now?  How did you find this?"  So I told her I found it on a website and it doesn't make it any less valid. 

She she turns around goes to the computer and looks it up, then comes back and literally throws the print out I brought across the counter and it lands on the floor on my side.  I look at it and fucking leave it there.  I don't need it.  So she tells the guy at the counter (who to his credit was VERY nice, just not very knowledgable) to return it and ring it back up.  The guy does it and returns it all to my card.  It was like a total of 700 dollars.  In that account, I only have about 300 left.  So when we try to repurchase everything to include my 2 movies, it keeps getting a denial. 

So he calls his supervisor over again and she basically tells me "well that sucks.  come back in when you have enough money in your account to repurchase everything."  I'VE ALREADY BEEN THERE FOR LIKE AN HOUR AND THIS SHIT IS NOT MY FUCKING FAULT.

The guy eventually worked around it though and got everything evened out.  I'm going to go back and punch that bitch in the cunt though.  SHE DIDN'T EVEN KNOW WHAT HD DVD IS!  HOW IS SHE ANYONE'S SUPERVISOR?


Edit: Oh and when I asked about buying another player with all the shit, she glared me down and told me "We would be out of business if we allowed everyone to do that.  We're not in this to give stuff away."  What a stupid bitch.

it should NOT take over an hour to do this.  the guy had no idea what he was doing.  NONE.  I heard "this might work" probably over 20 times.

Dude, I told you to call 1-888-BestBuy and write down the case number, and you wouldn't have had to go through any of that.  They put all my stuff on a store gift card instead of doing a return/rebuy.  When they call that number and Corporate lays down the law, those fucking wagers suddenly become sweet as pie.

I did!  Ms. Fat Bitch didn't want to hear it!  Although the missus on the CS line last night said I didn't need a case number and that they could just call to verify it.  Ms. Fat Bitch just got pissed when I mentioned calling customer service.

They seemed pretty irritated when I first showed them my receipt with the case number, but I didn't give a fuck.  I was even-tempered and pleasant throughout the whole thing, because I knew that at the end of it all I would be walking out of there with 2 free HD-DVDs.

That's how I was.  The guy that actually did all the transactions was very nice so I was very nice to him.  When Ms. Fat Bitch showed up and started throwing her weight around (lol) I was a mild-mannered dick to her only because I knew I was right. woo!

BTW, I got Blood Diamond and The Shining.  They were out of 2001.  I wanted to get a Clockwork Orange but these are going to be the last 2 movies I buy until next paycheck so I wanted to mix it up a bit.

fuck best buy.  the last time i bought something expensive there, i was given a 30 minute speech about their service plan bullshit.  to top it off, the dude speaking to me was rambling at micro machine commercial speed in addition to a fucked up fob asian accent.  and when i finally denied him after his sermon, he kept saying i was going to regret it.  i really wanted to punch him in the face at that point.

Highway 6 and Westheimer right by West Oaks.

It took me 30 mins to get Ratchet and Clank because the idiots there couldn't figure out where the game was.  A <90 IQ seems to be a job requirement at BB.  The salesman even forgot what I wanted after a minute and came back to ask if I wanted Resistance.  Well, at least, they were polite unlike the people at Mupepe's BB.
