really? it hasn't been apparent this entire time?
not THIS stupid.  I thought MAYBE he would suggest this guy should go to a mental hospital or something.  I hope somebody rapes this guy to death in jail, he deserves no better.

So you think a proper punishment is rape for someone who does this?

No, but if I came across him being raped I probably wouldn't stop it from happening.

Quote
Sexual assault is any form of nonconsenting sexual activity, which encompasses all unwanted sexual acts ranging from fondling to penetration. Definitions of sexual assault vary from state to state.[1] Sexual assault is a crime even if the victim knew the attacker, did not fight back, had intercourse with the attacker before the assault, or was intoxicated, drugged or unconscious. Anyone is a potential victim. This crime crosses all races and spans all ages.

You're right, urination falls under that category. Do some research FoC  >:(

I've neither been raped nor urinated on and subjected to cruel and degrading public humiliation while fucking dying in the street, so I can't say for sure, but it's plausible that the latter could be at least as bad as the former.

I'm truly amazed (no I'm not) that internet libertarianism has spawned a group of people that will defend the rights of drunks who piss on dying people to make a point.  You should be ashamed of yourself, FoC.

You're assuming that it has the ability to understand the concept of shame.

No, but you are defending a position that assumes the government (state government no less) is overstepping its boundaries when giving someone three years in jail for gross public indecency and sexual assault.  Same difference in the end.

Sexual assault... come on. Im sure the guy wasn't sexual assaulting her. The article only mentions public indecency.

i only added "intentional" to keep the argument scoped. clearly, it's "lack of consent" that makes the crime.

I would film it.  It would make for a hilarious YouTube video.

They should have given everyone in that crowd gathered around six months, as well.

We need another good worldwide plague to thin some of these fucking monsters out of the gene pool.

Sadly, plague is rather inexact in who it kills.  However, when the Revolution comes, rest assured they will be among the first up against the wall.

So he is going to a prison for 3 years for peeing on someone. Not to mention there wasnt even a victim. Would he get 3 years if she was alive? What about if she was already dead? Sounds like harsh punishment.

Answer the question:  what would you do if someone did this to your mom?

I would probably kick their ass. But im not the government.

Well, taking the law into your own hands does not work. Parties who have been wronged and are unable to take the law into their own hands won't obtain justice. On the other hand, parties who have been wronged and are able to take the law into their own hands often go too far and act unjustly. In a law of nature some people could urinate on people with impunity. That is until, I don't know, people bandied together and created laws against such actions.

Even exposing your genitals to someone is sexual assault, so how does this distinguished mentally-challenged fellow figure exposing them and then PISSING OUT OF THEM ONTO SOMEONE is not also sexual assault?

I really hope they find out that she was like already dead when he peed on her. because if she were still alive, maybe she could have been saved had he called for help instead of being a jerk. I feel sorry for her family. :(

You know I am going to agree with FoC and say that 3 years is too harsh a sentence.

not because Ithink it's too harsh a sentence though.

Because my best friend's brother was killed byu a drink driver. As in killed dead and his family could never see him get married, have children, anything. And the guy who killed him served like a year in jail and now he's out and, guess what, drinks all the time and beats up his girlfriend and stuff. :(

The whole judicial system is screwed up.

There's also a serial killer who killed 13 people, most of them his own family, in mycity in 1982. He's been on death row since then. Death row for longer than I've been alive. That's like really pathetic.

Absolutely. The guy pretty much wrecked my friend's family. This happened in 2001 and her mom JUST stopped having this empty look all the time because they moved into a new house. It was like the memories were killing her.

And still, the guy beats his girlfriend and everything, which I think makes it even worse. Sometimes people do something bad, serve some time in jail, and come out a better person. Not this asshole.

I don't remember what he looks like and I'm glad I don't. I'm not sure I could keep myself from at least verbally tearing him a new asshole if I ever saw him.

I don't think the fact that some people aren't punished severely enough is reason enough to lighten his sentence.  3 years sounds good to me.

I agree. I mean by comparison though, 3 years is a lifetime for this dude. But I still think 3 years was a good sentence. Do I make sense at all? Sorry. :(

The US justice system needs a total overhaul CONFIRMED.
