I'll start. I blame most of this on Showtime despite the network introducing me to 'adult' programming:

(this one I blame on USA Network)

(I almost didnt admit this one, its so bad. She's hot tho argh)

I liked Clueless! It's a cute retelling of Jane Austen's Emma.

Captain Ron and Uncle Buck are not bad, but modern day classics. And in all seriousness, a lot of people hold Clueless in high regard.

Clueless was good, but there's NO WAY I could say I enjoyed it in public without being assaulted just for the sport of it.

And Captain Ron, well I didnt mention in the first post exactly how many times ive seen it, which is the true shame. Its somewhere in the high 20s.

Clueless is Amy Heckerling, Amy "Fast Times at Ridgemont High" Heckerling. Clueless is no Fast Times, but it's a really fun movie.

Uncle Buck is no different than any other John Hughes movie, except it was marked the evolution from his teen dramedy era to slapstick comedy.

My in-laws watch Captain Ron every week of their own volition. Man, the daughter in that movie was cute, though.

I don't think anyone would beat you for diggin' Clueless; the movie was really well-recieved critically, and had some really sharp dialogue for the time. Amy Heckerling wrote and directed it, and she's pretty talented. It's definitely not in the same category as 3 Ninjas.

3 Ninjas! I forgot about this movie, I loved it when I was a kid. I've probably watched it more than 50 times...I caught it on T.V. a while back and was suprised at what a corny movie it really is. A lot of movies I liked as a kid are just...bad

Clueless is actually a pretty decent movie though.

Ugh. I could only stomach it once. It was funny the first time only because of how confusing it was.

What age was it set in?

They were on a shitty ship that looked like it was from the 1700's.
They were dressed like they were from the 1800's.
They had a microwave.
They used slang from the 90's.
They made references to 20th Century politics.
