She made me plenty numb, but I knew I to put my worry pants in when she started shoving PINS in my GUMS to keep my mouth open, like a certain infamous torture scene in Takashi Miike's Imprint.
Oh god, there was so much blood, and I can already tell that there is going to be PAIN GALORE when the numbness wears off.
4 hours in the chair. Numbing agents, both local and injected, were applied 4 times. 2 of those were needle injections, each application requiring 3 shots. I cun't feel my face. I literally thought they blocked up my nose with padding to keep dust out or something, but my face was just that numb.
On the plus side. My front teeth are straight for the first time ever. On the minus side, this single appointment cost over 2k. And I have another cleaning session in 2 weeks that will cost me ~800. And a week after that I have to get permanent tooth replacements put in, which I am sure isn't cheap

And my insurance is all used up. After 1 visit.
