We went to a friend's house, made this awesome casserole that consisted of saurkrout, bratwurst and potatoes, and played 6-person Settlers of Catan while watching The Thing and Dawn of the Dead (2004). I'm making them watch the original Dawn of the Dead on Blu-ray Wednesday night while we hand out candy to trick or treaters at my house.

Thank you. My hair was a lot shorter, but I'm letting it grow out again. The short was fun and I did like it, but I always go back to my long hair. There's something inherently beautiful about long hair [on a woman!] that can't really be matched by even the nicest head of short hair.

I love having to buy new clothes because I've lost weight. It's so awesome! I currently have like 3 pairs of jeans that fit me because most of the ones I bought before like 2 years ago are too big.

The rest of my room is actually quite clean, but my desk is always always cluttered like that. I don't know if it's a comfort thing or what, but if I clean it off, I always have to make a mess of it again even if it's just spreading shit out to make it look messy.

My daddy pays for it. They use Epix at my parents' house and I think it's cable--it's high-speed, whatever it is. But I live with Grandma and Pop and it's actually cheaper to do AOL + land line phone line than it is to do a broadband/cable thing. We've been AOL customers since 1994, and have had it consistently since 1996, so it's really cheap for us.

I watched Disturbia Saturday night and it exceeded my low expectations.  Had some big plot holes, but then does some things very well. Plus, the line "It smells like the corpse of a rotting hottie" is instantly quotable.

Hmm, Saturday night was going to a party, which included that movie and my first gin n tonic in a year. It also included sitting with my feet up on the fence of an apartment patio smoking a clove and drinking a beer.  It was tragically hipster. =| Also I was dressed as a rabbi, rocking my avatar. I was told I make a great jew.

Friday night was swing dancing, costume night. I danced with about 6 girls, but tired out early. I picked out one girl when she came in, made her my top target and ended up spending most the night dancing and talking with her. She was wearing an all green faerie outfit, with a green wig. She was the sorta glasses nerdy cute girl sort of deal. I don't normally have any success at going straight for my 'top priority' girl, or the chick I find most interested from a view perspective, but this one worked out. Unfortunately, I forgot she was leaving at 11pm and didn't say goodbye/get her phone number.  So I'm distinguished mentally-challenged.

After the dance, I hung out with two lady friends and we went to a cafe, then Lyons because it's open 24 hours. At some point I recall referring to some cheap slutty dressed girls as "celibacy walking past me."

Today I saw Lars and The Real Girl, which was really good. Then I tried tracking down some info on my faerie girl.
