Lynard Skynard appreciation thread.

Very few songs i'd love to die while they were being played like all of mozart's requiem or the finale of bethooven's 5th. Freebird's solo is one of them. Rolling Stone are distinguished mentally-challenged fellows for putting eruption above this.

I listened to FREEBIRD the other day. And I played the guitar solo like 5 times but the rest of the song only once.

Also, it's Lynyrd Skynyrd. You misspelled. :)

How did such a crappy band release such a great song.  ??? Sort of like the Eagles with Hotel California.

Yea, I remember taking my dad's Eagles Greatest Hits collection CD...I was expecting more stuff like Hotel California. Man, that was a massive disappointment.

A band really sucks when their Greatest Hits collection is awful.

tuesday's gone and sweet home alabama are pretty classic, but then a dumb canadian like malek wouldnt know about purely american marquee anthems. Am i rite.

If Skynyrd has a single great song, it's Simple Man.  It sure as fuck isn't Freebird.
