If I buy an Arcade 360 and attach my HD to it, will I still be able to play my XBLA games offline?

FUCK I WANT THIS NOW GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR

And Play-Asia are being sneaky bastards.  They got the game today, quietly removed all mention of it from their front page and 360 page, but it is in stock.  And it still lists "?" for compatibility with Japanese systems.

GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR

DC told me the US version does not run on JP machines. Maybe that's why they quietly removed it.

Yeah, I asked him yesterday, that's why I'm all "GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR."  I admit it, I'm bitter about it.  I really wanted this and DAMMIT I don't want to wait another month.  But what can you do?

Maybe you could buy the PAL version from Ebay since this one really is region-free.

I wouldn't be surprised if it's the same as the U.S. version, which is also compatible with PAL systems.  I need confirmation from someone who doesn't pirate games.

Pirated X360 games cannot be patched for region-free AFAIK

Use this, it has a checklist of what it's compatible with

eh, looks like the only region it's not compatible with is Japan as far as 360 systems go, we never pay attention to that zone since it's such a small market and no one owns a jap 360 on the Internet outside of on those forums

for some reason Sega doesn't want japanese people to play this game on that system yet, pretty strange

Region locking is on the discs, 360 is region free.

it's up to the publishers to region lock their games.
