I only put 2 hours in, but I want to say that it has the potential to be the best PC RPG since Bioware and Black Isle were hitting them out of the park on a regular basis.  That'd be what?  Since 2002?

I was telling Drinky that the game has sorta the same dramatic direction of MGS games which is really cool and new for PC RPGs. I also love how it kinda feels like a FUN Oblivion in a weird way you know. Over the shoulder ftw.

I find it really hard to be interested in linear rpgs anymore.

it's actually good. the combat takes a bit of time to get used to, and the load times are a bit obnoxious even on my RAID 0'd 10K drive setup, and the plot has its uh, slovakian moments, but other than that, i'm really enjoying it.

It is actually good. . .very good.  Being an extremely rare highly polished eastern european game, there is an odd dichotomy between the things that are polished and the things that are not, but overall, it is rapidly apparent upon playing that that game is of a quality not often seen.

Like all good eastern european games, it probably needs at least one patch, but I can guarantee you right now that this game has already ensured itself a very strong cult following.  I hope this studio gets to do a follow-up of some sort.

I've never played an Eastern European game before, maybe I will give into curiosity and give this a try. Their broads are usually pretty hot at least.

Its awesome. I just spent 15 minutes sitting in a crappy inn paying bards to sing songs about me, participating in prize fighting with a bunch of drunken farmers that talk about sucking my moms cock or something, then I managed to find some merchant who had work for a Witcher.
