Musou Orochi (not all the campaigns though, plus I have to start all over since I switched out the PS2 version for the 360 one)
Phoenix Wright 2 (now I'm working my way through 3)
Halo 3 (sort of, I beat it in co-op but not alone and have yet to play a level or two)
Ghost Squad (lolz because on one run-through it can be beaten in like 15 minutes or less)

I think that may be it; I spend most of my gaming time playing arcade-style games that can't really be "beaten," e.g. fighting games.

The only games on that list I had not played before were SH3, Cave Story, and DQV. Fuck next gen. I don't see why fegs have to get their pants uptight and forget about older games just because newer consoles are out.

Im trying to beat DW: Gundam, but its hard

Got half of the 1000 achievement points so far. The skills one required the most 'work'. Really the only hard one will be the 100,000 kills, I can manage 50,000 but jeeze. At most I can eek 1200 kills out of a level, but most of the missions are event driven so you cant camp drop zones much.

Absolutely. And I often think that many "next-gen" gamers just want the newest thing and don't want to be "caught" playing something older; they're not in for the gaming, they're in for the tech and other stupid shit.

Ichirou: When I first got my 360, I wasn't nearly as excited as I was when I first got my playstation, or playstation 2. Hell, even the next gen games I look forward to, I'm not balls out spooging a storm like when MGS2, FFX, DMC, Klonoa 2;etc came out that year. I feel as if I got the system out of obligation rather than excitement. Truth be told, the only next gen games that get me in a fanboy frenzy are Brutal Legend and GTAIV.

I dunno if it's the price points or what. I'm certainly not as pumped for next gen as I was last gen!

Himu wasn't talking about replaying the same things over and over - over half of what he listed were games he'd never played before. And even if he were, what's wrong with that? If you enjoy a game, why should you feel bad because it's not next gen? And if you haven't played a game before, what does it matter if it came out last week or ten years ago? It'll still be a new experience for you!

Yes, that's definitely a big part of it. I wasn't anywhere near as excited for any of the systems I got last gen as I was when I got my Playstation, Saturn, and Neo-Geo CDZ the generation before. And I was far more excited for the SNES than any of those systems, and even more pumped when we got a Nintendo Entertainment System.

Btw, it's interesting to see that so many people finished Bioshock despite the backlash against the hype/critical acclaim. The criticsms seem to be a bit overstated.

There was no real backlash against on EB that I can recall. Everyone loved it except for one person who liked it but had some issues with it...I don't remember who it was.

As a single player FPS, Bioshock is the best shooter this year, hands-down. I enjoyed it more than Halo 3 in that regard, but nothing beats playing Halo 3 campaign with three other people. Also HOLY SHIT at CoD4. I saw a video and I am all over it; never bothered to watch anything on it before.
