Postal Service Rox

Lets hear it for Postal Service. I wish these distinguished mentally-challenged fellows would stop playing with their bands and do another mail-album.

Fuck you guys, I've been a HUGE Postal Service fan since around the time the album came out to present times.

This is possibly one of my favorite albums as well. Every track on this fucking CD is amazing, and they all fit together.

God damn, now I'm going to have to listen to it.

The only thing I don't agree on is "these fuckers should leave their original acts." NO. FUCK THAT NOISE. I like the occasional collaboration, because Death Cab for Cutie is my favorite band, and they need to stay together for like eternity.

They're better artists because of their original acts. The Postal Service CD would have sucked if they didnt havent that previous experience. Tho I DO hope Jenny Lewis leaves Rilo, cause Rabbit Fur Coat was so good.

I've seen them live twice (once Ben and Jimmy, and once Ben, Jimmy and Jenny Lewis), they do a nice job translating the songs into a concert format.

They have, but production is going slowly. If you remember, the reason the band is named The Postal Service is because they basically work in two different cities on the music and send their work to each other via USPS.

I think that the last time I heard about they had around six tracks done.

If you like The Postal Service, you should check out dntel

It's Jimmy Tamborillo's "solo" act, if you will - but he still works with a lot of indie rawkers

Yup.

Dntel is how The Postal Service started. The dntel song "(This is) The Dream of Evan and Chan" was the birth of The Postal Service. I saw them do it live at Sasquatch a few years ago with Jenny Lewis, totally awesome.
