If you dig the Shining, check out Altman's pic 3 Women.  Although I can't point out any direct connections that I know of, it has a similar eerie feel as the Shining, is a bizarre psychological movie, and features Shelly Hee Haw Duvall!



I seriously think Kubrick must have seen it.
