Too bad there's no online co-op in this game. Halo 3 sort of spoiled me in that regard.
Yeah, this game really screams for on (or off) line co-op.
Single player so far:
PROS
- It's very pretty, smoke and explosions are outstanding
- There's a lot going on. This game really moves shit right along.
- Plot and characters seem interesting, glad IW finally decided to include a storyline with their games
- Controls are very smooth, and you can adjust the sensitivity to insane levels
- weapons are neat and feel powerful
- I like how enemies you shot but didn't kill try to crawl away
- Friendly AI seems better, less intrusive than in past COD games. They're actually a little too good at times, clearing out rooms before I even get there.
CONS
- Grenade spamming. See, it's realistic, because every soldier in the world carries at least 50 or 60 grenades with them at all times.
- Endless spawning until you cross the "threshold" which makes it stop. That shit is old and ragged.
- Sometimes the direction you're supposed to be heading isn't made clear enough
- Enemies still focus almost entirely on you.
- Other than the pretty effects and the modern weapons/setting, it's the same COD game you've played 3 times before
I haven't played multiplayer yet.
