I found this rottenneighbor.com site and was looking around, and I guess they use googlemaps to bring up an image of whatever zip code you type in. So I zoomed in and looked around and I found my house. With Gram and Pop's car outside and everything, hah. Anytime I'd previously used googlemaps they couldn't zoom in that far on my city. I guess Big Brother are updating their databases or something.

I called Pop upstairs to show him his house/car from an aerial view on the internet. He thought it was very cool. It might be kinda creepy, though.

I remember when online satellite maps first came out, you could barely find a person's house by counting how many blobs they were from the corner now. back then (~8 years old) I was not impressed.

The map for my neighborhood is several years old. It has my parents old van in the drive way, and the new housing development thats been there for over a year isn't on there.
