Like more than they ever thought they'd finish?

Since my hours have been cut, I think I'm gonna attempt to beat 3 games a week.

Like tonight:

Ratchet & Clank 1 finished before Top Gear comes on. Then probably some more Ratchet & Clank.

Next Week, all four .hack games beat before I go to bed Sunday night!

After that it's FF & Raiden 3 week.

All four .hack games take roughly 60 hours, just be warned, also grind cores asap, just for fun, so you dont get caught with pants down in .Hack Mutation

I have a bunch of PS2 games I haven't even touched yet - Tales of Legendia, Persona 3, Wild Arms 5, Growlanser Heritage of War...should keep me busy till mid-March, I think.

yes. unbelievably huge. including a bunch of jrpgs that i'm never going to touch. i was just buying everything i could find at clearance sales. for a while i'd take out a stack of games every weekend, play each for an hour or so, and sell the ones that didn't interest me. even that didn't make any real dent. at some point i'm going to have to suck it up and sell unopened games. NEVER AGAIN. i haven't got much of a backlog this gen -- just condemned, psu, and pgr3.

I've got at least 80 games from all 3 last gen systems that I wanted to beat but never got around to finish. I would never prioritize the oldies over the new stuff though. Next Gen FTW!

Tons. PS1 was the same way. I ended up with so many games because I worked at a game store from the beginning of high school through the end of college, and got way too many good discounts on games to pass up on them. My backlog is HUGE and I know I will never finish everything.

I've pretty much resigned myself to playing the games I got in Japan, but that's already over two years' worth and my backlog of games here is growing ever larger. Too much stuff comes out, I buy 'em all, and they either sit there or end up as trade in fodder later on. I've actually gotten a lot better about this in the past year.

I built up a massive backlog of PS2 RPGs, it doesn't help that the majority of them are 50+ hour excursions requiring at least 1 hour or so between save points. I'm trying to work on catching up now since it doesn't seem like there's too many next-gen RPGs that interest me on the horizon. It's kinda sad but I am making a list of the order I should tackle my backlog in, it goes something like this so far:

-Breath of Fire: Dragon Quarter (up to the final save point)
-Tales of the Abyss
-Baten Kaitos: Origins
-Suikoden 2
-Persona 3
-Radiata Stories
-Digital Devil Saga 2
-Wild Arms 5

I'm also gonna have some non RPGs thrown in there, namely Galaxy, HL2:Episode 1 and 2, Portal, HL1, and Halo 1. And I'm gonna drop everything once Majora's Mask comes out on VC.

Why get another ps2 when I have a ps2 with upscaling and bluray capabilities am i rite lol. Actually I wouldnt mind a backup for the unit in my room at my desk

Yes I have big backlog, specially JRPGs that I am NEVER going to play.

Everthing started when I started working, I saw income all of a sudden and I started buying shit. When I was jobless teenager I could only drool at everything I wanted to buy but I couldn`t.

Now I know better, I will sell pretty much everything on my backlog, hardcoreness be damned. Buying the latest game be damned. Having a stack of never opened makes me feel horrible. I will go back to the days I only had like 1 or 2 games at a time and enjoyed it.

Yeah, the technical aspects aren't bad for a PS2 game but the female characters were ugly.

BTW, Stuntman for the PS2 is finally playable now that the PS3 halves(or better) its load times.

Also, upscaling/smoothing is teh pretty for most of my stuff. I haven't even played that many PS3 games since I got the system. I'm waiting until the better stuff comes out later or until some decent games are available at less then outragious prices, until then I'll be working on my ridicoulous backlog quite happily thank you very much.
