I bought Nintendogs back when GAF was hyping it. I played it for like five hours before I got sick of it. My co-worker who loves dogs wants to buy a DS for that game but she decided to wait for a sequel hoping it'll have toy poodle and shetland sheepdog in one version available from the start.

srsly, it was because i had previously bought her catz, which is bad even by the low standards of the novelty software genre

on the plus side, i technically don't own a ds now that she has co-opted it

It's a well-crafted experience, TVC. You're just not the target audience (neither am I, but I only found that out after playing it). It's undeniably well-made for what it is.

my daughter is better at catz than me and my wife -- the cryptic interface just baffles us. i have no doubt that she will master nintendo dogs within the week.
