Thanks to Naruto: Rise of a Ninja. Each of us secretely wonders who will break down and buy a Naruto DVD so they can in turn borrow it without shame and get it out of their system. Here are the facts.

TVC
Why he will: Bought a Naruto keychain today. Has played more Rise of a Ninja than Drinky or MAF. Once ate tuna for a MONTH. While drugged out from the dentist visits buying ANYTHING even by accident is possible.
Why he won't: The film/TV buff of the three. Will be distracted and waste his money on storage drives for his SHODAN replica.

MAF (aka me)
Why he will: Owns 3 Naruto games. Owns more anime than Drinky or TVC. Actively watches more anime than Drinky or TVC. Watched and didn't totally hate LOVE HINA. Didn't know where New Zealand was.
Why he won't: One would think I have better taste in anime due to the amount i've seen, but the jury is still out. Trying to appear normal for eligible women. Currently does not OWN a copy of Love Hina and does not plan to. Now knows where New Zealand is.

Drinky
Why he will: Owns both Atelier Iris 2 and 3. Sure, MAF owns them too but thats different cause umm, shut up. Likes One Piece..like A LOT.
Why he won't: One Piece is a big enough monkey on his back. Saving the money for Atelier Iris 4. Its more fun to troll Naruto than to watch it. Upset Naruto eats Ramen instead of Pho.

Its not completely horrible, Ive watched some dvds (in japanese) on a boring sunday with my roomate who was big into the show.
No plans to buy or watch the series by myself though

If I buy it, it will be from the Internet Store. I can do it without anyone knowing, and even worse, I can easily infect the other two. But for now, I will resist.

Also, the Internet Store assures I will get decent uncensored eps with non-TV quality subs, which is good or bad, depending on how it goes.

And I love my Naruto keychain. If I had more money to spare, I would have that wall scroll, too!

tvc naruto is fairly enjoyable, i think its pretty charming. But at one point it becomes plagued by excessive filler episodes that you should skip. You should ask evilore exactly when that happens i havent watched the anime in awhile i just read the manga instead.

I haven't seen Gundam, but that doesn't prevent me from accurately knowing what it is like via the no doubt accurate snippets I have seen on Cartoon Network.

Also, TOS and the first 6 movies is a LOT more content than the good Star Wars movies, of which there are 3. Thus, by math, Star Trek >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Star Wars.

Plus, although they are not as good as TOS, TNG and DSN are also better than ANY Star Wars content.
