People from the east coast go to Vermont - Killington, Mt Snow, Okemo in particular.

I've only been to Snowbowl in Lake Tahoe.  It's good if you want to go somewhere not snowy in a few hours (it's right next to sacramento).

Vermont sounds like a nice place. I dont wanna go to any hilllbilly areas.
