Unless there're some really excellent deals, I'm going to hold off on buying any more HD/BD until Thanksgiving. My HD purchases have been getting a bit out of control lately (30 something in the last month).

I'm almost done with my Blu-ray purchases for the year. I've got Paprika and Blade Runner pre-ordered, and I stuck the rest (Harry Potter 1-5, Superbad, Simpsons Movie, Die Hard 1) on my Christmas list, which means I can't buy them until January.

I called around early looking for a Circuit City with copies of COD3 to take advantage of the glitch, but apparently the local stores only got in something like 5 each. $:-\$

Casino HD DVD = $16 w/10% off

Ratataoooojsjdaowe;l;;llie on Bru Ray = traded in 4 for 1 at Moviestop, $9 final price.

I'm a cheap motherfucker.

Couldn't bring myself to get that Pixar collection on Bru Ray. It's $30, and only 54 minutes long.

I just asked. It helps that I shop there a lot, and I am friends with the manager of the DVD/Music section. I guess it's up to the individual store policy, but I have never had a problem with getting BB to match anything.

That's what I thought. Usually, if my friend is working, I just get him to tell the people at Customer Service or the register if it's something tricky like a misprint or whatever.

One Best Buy turned me down for the COD3 offer. The other didn't have any copies of COD3 even after the dude said I could do it.

Well, they made a mistake in setting the whole game in France, but it had an actual storyline with actual characters, and it had an awesome multiplayer which worked right out of the box, as opposed to the four months of clusterfuck and denial from Activision and IW (seriously, everyone needs to quit sucking IW's dick) regarding the completely broken COD2 multiplayer.

Plus, there is a line in COD3 where the French dude tells the British guy he hopes he gets syphilis. COD3>COD2
