I half hate myself for liking them, but I do dig the Lego Star Wars games.  They are easy as fuck, but they are good fun, and they look funny.  Plus the concept is like something Baudrillard would have come up with.  There are not many games that I can appreciate on a post-structuralist level.

I still find it slightly sinister, like mixing green peas in with potatoes. But I suppose there's no real harm being done if people enjoy it.

This game will be awesome. I doubt there will be as many playable characters as Star Wars though. I hope the date eating monkey is a playable character.

the first lego star was game was a massive surprise, but the second one was a let down i though.

the 3d non-platform sections in the first game were awesome.

I never played the first game before last night.  The second one was my first, since it was the only one on next gen systems at the time.  I liked it a ton, but yes, playing the first game, it is a lot better.  I am glad that I played them in the order I did to maximize enjoyment.

Funny that the shittier trilogy is the better game.
