Dog chooses to be buried with George Washington's slaves, and then compares himself to them. Says Washington's slaves were family "friends" of Washington

"When I am dead a little girl will point to my grave and say 'why is that white man buried there?'"  :lol

I saw that stuff about the slave's graves. This guy is an idiot. That being said. He shouldn't have been canceled just for saying distinguished black fellow.

They played this on Stern this morning. What was more hilarious than what Dog had to say, was how Sean Hannity just sat idly by without challenging his ridiculous remarks.

He said he only uses the n-word around black people as a term of affection. But clearly he was caught on tape using it as a slur with no black person around. Not to mention that the whole conversation was instigated because of his disdain for a black girlfriend.

Then he went on to explain that he understands the black man's plight because he grew up as trailer trash.  :lol

The audio doesn't lie. He sounds extremely comfortable with the word, as if he uses it all the time. To make matters worse, the clip is essentially him pissed his son is dating a black chick. And the girlfriend came out and said she's heard him say the word on many occassions too

Why not?  It was the right of the private corporation for which he worked to fire him.  Surely you do not think laws should be in place to prevent corporations from firing whomever they wish for whatever reasons they have?

While I don't like the idea of firing people over their comments, at the end of the day TV is about advertisements. When the advertisement agencies pull their ads, TV producers act. And in this case, Dog's show was losing its advertisements over his stupid comments. A&E's decision was simply sound business

I agree A&E can do whatever they want. I just dont agree that it should be a big deal when a white guy says distinguished black fellow.

FoC doesn't think it should be a big deal if he wants to BUY a distinguished black fellow, either.  Neither does Ron!

I think if black people knew how often this word was used behind closed doors there would be racial riots. That said, there's a fine line between that and racism. Dog is just distinguished mentally-challenged white trash.

No I can only remember saying it one time in 2nd grade. I went to this really crappy elementary school in a crack neighborhood in Baton Rouge. The bus route had a lit of inner city black kids on it and they would always call each other niccas. so one time I asked my 2nd grade teacher what that meant and she got really mad, but never told me why it was bad.

Why the hell shouldn't someone be fired for saying distinguished black fellow?

Do black people get fired for saying it?
