EBA was my GOTY last year. I never played Ouendan so it was very fresh to me. Cheerleader mode is almost another game. I agree with dcharlie; the game does not get good until the difficulty starts ramping up.

Pick up Ouendan 2 as well, demi.

I was going to pick up Ouendan, but I heard you could not skip the opening cut scenes like you can in EBA and Ouendan 2. I must of replayed some songs over 100 times. It would drive me crazy going through opening cut scenes every time I would have replay a song.

The game recommends headphones because you'll find it easier to hear to the beats better on headphones. The DS's speakers are crap, however, using headphones provides clearer and accurate sound. This will be very important in later, harder stages.

I'd like it better if the cymbal crashing sfx when you hit a beat wasn't so damn loud!!! Not into rhythm-based games but the little stories that play while you play the game make things a bit more fun.
