they apparently had to feed the cat before doing the test (duh), they did this by just turning off the part of the brain that sees cats as scary, not by turning off it's sense of smell.

PETA members scare me, too. I'm all for animal welfare, but animal rights is a different story. Animal rights/PETA wants the total liberation of animals, no animal testing, no PETS, etc. Sorry, but I'd still rather my medication be tested on rats before it's tested on humans. Oh, and I'd never give up my wonderful cat to STFU PETA.

I'd rather wear fur than go naked, but I'd do it with a sort of guilt.

Animals, especially furry ones, steal my heart whether they're wild or not.
