last i heard 8.5 was a pretty good score. i think the review was kinda like ''too gow-ish, not enough platforming''

i hope they add lots of platforming for the sequel, though i'll still play this.

I just noticed that Fire Emblem scored higher too than Uncharted. So that's 2 games on the Wii this month that have higher scores than the SDF's last great hope. No wonder even Japanese stores are putting the PS3 in the shameful corner.

8.5 has to be very disappointing for the people that were expecting Uncharted to be the greatest thing ever. Now Uncharted likely won't even be the highest rated game on the PS3.

It's not as simple as that. The issue has been every Sony exclusive being hyped to the Startosphere, and getting an 8.5 (which is a good score otherwise) is a disappointment for all those that claimed it'd be the second coming.

Honestly, with Naughty Dog's history of the PS2 gen, who really thought they would pull out a platform defining classic? Even their last great game, the original Jak, isn't held in *that* high of regard by the general populace.

This is another case of dumbass holding a game in high acclaim not because they gave a rat's ass about the developer, but because they needed something, anything to hope in.
