entertainment, today announced that it has obtained the North American publishing rights for Operation Darkness,
an epic fantasy WWII turn-based strategy game for the Xbox 360® video game and entertainment system from

they're not supporting the 360, it's just Atlus USA that chooses to localize obscure 360 titles done by japanese studios, as they've done frequently in the past with other systems

There are a lot of obscure Japanese titles on the PS2 yet to be localized, but instead, Atlus decided to localize two 360 games.

i wonder why...

It appears that Atlus is just diversifying and expanding their publishing efforts.  They currently support the Wii, PSP, PS2, and now 360.  And considering the market Atlus caters to (Japafags) is highly under served on da Box (not that I'm sure that too many of them own one), this shouldn't really surprise anybody.  Oh yeah, and there's this.
