Dexter on Showtime
« on: October 17, 2006, 12:55:50 PM »
Thanks to TIVO I can actually watch seasons of shows. The only ones I have really been watching are Dexter and Weeds on Showtime though.

Does anyone here watch Dexter? It’s my new favorite show. It’s the most exciting T.V. show I have watched in years. It’s smart, darkly funny and original. And there’s something about Michael C. Hall that is just so hot.

I love the series Hall is just freaky he goes from crazy gay guy to crazy murder guy. But i love how they balance his rage and thirst with him really having a heart. he may feel cold on the inside but they've given him a warmth cause he's trying to be human. I gotta pick up the books the shows based on and read them. I'm so intrigued by the character.

Saw the first one, loved it.

What a great idea for a show, really.

It's like a fuckin' Oz reunion!

Showtime has been getting some interesting programming going on, recently. Not enough to make me cancel my HBO sub but enough for me to subscribe to both. My wallet am cry.

Once sopranos is over with HBO will have nothing anymore. They've all but canned all the programs i've enjoyed. I cant stand the wire and rome is bullshit. The only thing they are good for is the Starwars movies in HD.

But dexter is where its at its just freaking crazy and its a perfect companion to CSI Miami for me since i have to watch it on monday instead of sunday.

What do you guys think of dexters sister she's pretty freaking hot. I just hope Dexter will be there to save her when she gets too close to the truth between Dex and the IceTruck killer. I really wonder why the ITK is killing normal people now and not prostitutes.

I loved him in Six Feet Under and it's cool that he's gay again.  I cancelled my premium cable when Weeds ended last season but the ads for this are making me miss it.

He's not gay in Dexter, what gave you that idea? Certainly not by reading this thread, I don't think!

Ah!  I see now. I misread ZomBz, "he goes from crazy gay guy to crazy murder guy" thinking he was talking about this show, not realizing he meant the transition from Six Feet Under to Dexter.

So much for my gay, murderous doctor show fantasy being fulfilled.  Still going to reorder Showtime.

they showed at the end ITK was getting messy, it could have been a preview i dont know. Either way its gonna get nasty before it gettings any better. I seriously wonder who ITK is, its someone that knows Dexter very well. I could almost think it was his sister but i know it isnt. ITK is trying to teach Dexter more of the laws of Henry (Dexters dad) by giving Dexter new techniques.

And Mellisa i'm sorry to misguide you with what i was saying. Yes i was talking about his transformation between SFU and Dexter its amazing.

I wish someone would get the episodes off of ondemand cause they are up to episode 6 now. Its the number one watched premium program on ondemand from comcast. I just hope it gets picked up for more episodes cause i dont think it got a full season yet. But they are so confident about it that they put it online for free. Just the first two episodes though.
