Die Hard 4 seems to have gotten a good transfer. I"m going to pick it up today. C movie goes to B with the help of 1080P.

I saw some comparison pics linked from Home Theater Forum, and there was noticeable improvement in DH and DH3. Especially with DH3, which everyone said had one of the worst DVD transfers for a major film ever. I feel a little bit better about preordering the set now that I've seen the pics, after reading all the bad comments.

But die hard 4 blu-ray is the edited cut. The unrated one with like 92589258 fucks is dvd only.

I got the Twin Peaks Gold Box Edition today as well....along with The Twilight Zone Definitive Collection and The Office Complete Series (BBC). DeepDiscountDVD's 20% off sale is nearly gonna kill me -- I'm somewhat close to buying Doctor Who Series 1-3 as well. And maybe The Complete Black Books too....

Get it now and decide later if you want to keep it. ME was sold out at several places that I went to this morning. Because of that and a $10 giftcard, I picked up Uncharted at CC instead.

Vengeance looks screwed up, from those comparison screenshots. There are still remnants of edge enhancement, and the flesh tones look bad. Too pink.
