19 Stooges shorts, in chronological order, from 1934-36.  A new remastering, so they all look and sound great.  20 bucks.  No extras, though.

i love you as i might love a brother -- well, a hairy, surly brother with some unidentified syndrome -- eel, but the stooges are about as funny as a crushed testicle.

Three Stooges are pretty funny.  Prole getting his testicles crushed would probably make for a good Stooges routine.

+1

The stooges are awesome, Prole.  From the era when pure violence ruled entertainment, as it should be.

I agree. I never found the stooges funny. Slapstick humor isn't my thing.

I think some of you would be surprised at how different the early Stooges stuff is.  They had a decent budget, and weren't recycling footage all the time like they were with the later low-budget shorts.  The stuff from the early 30s has a mini-film quality to it, with more sophisticated plots and clever dialogue.  the short features didn't really devolve into pure slapstick until the 40s.
