Usual turkey day plan for the wife and I. We don't really celebrate thanksgiving-it's just a nice day off.

Standard turkey dinner with the fam, my aunt, uncle and some cousins, followed by a lot of dessert and maybe some Wii Sports and Guitar Hero playing with everyone.

Yesterday: Picked up my in-laws at the airport. Sat in traffic for two hours. Went to Costco.

Today: Half-day at work. Going to see No Country for Old Men with my wife and her parents and then go out for dinner.

Thursday: We're all going to down to my parents' house for Thanksgiving dinner.

Friday: My parents are coming up to our house so the guys can watch football and the women can go shopping. I'm sure we'll play some
Rock Band, as my father and father-in-law are absolutely giddy about the prospect.

Saturday: The in-laws fly back to Omaha in the afternoon, so Saturday night we're having friends over to watch Battlestar Galactica: Razor and play some drunken Settlers of Catan, Rock Band and DDR.

That's my plan as well. I've been known to steal food on Thanksgiving. Once everyone's downstairs watching TV I'll sneak upstairs and carve out some more stuffing/lasagna/ham/etc for the weekend.

I've cooked 2 dozen muffins (12 blueberry, 12 apple streudel), 3 loaves worth of stuffing (half vegetarian though decidedly not vegan based on butter content by weight, half sausage/apple), and am making 16 biscuits as we speak. I HOPE U LIK STARCHS
