I so dearly want to see the two weird ass movies he's directed, but as he mentions in this fabulous AV Club interview, he has no desire to ever release them on DVD. MCFLY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

He's going up against Sarah Jessica Parker for the Horsiest Human award, though

k, this thread inspired a mini-Glover Youtube marathon which consisted of the trailers for both of those films, the Dave Letterman interviews, a poetry reading on atomic television and the music video "clowny clown clown".  All I can say after watchin all of that is that Crispen Glover is an awesome guy and I fully support anything he has to do in the future.

And you see, that's all I've seen of the Awesome Crispin Glover, too. I WANT to see his movies, but he doesn't make it easy!

That's a shame.  These trailers are addictive!  I've watched them on loop a few times already.  Maybe you can still purchase his CD?  I'm really curious about what 'the problem' is.

And we have no idea what these movies are actually like.  They are clearly out there artsy things that you have to see for yourself.  Since we all have little knowledge of Crispin Glover aside from him 1) being in Back to the Future, and 2) being crazy, these movies could be either awesome or total garbage!  At the very least, they'll be interesting.

do it! *prod prod*

Amazon user review:

Quote
This album broke my psyche. I felt it shatter. I did. -nod-

"F*cked up" doesn't even begin to cover it. This is forty three minutes of pure, unadulterated insanity. There's no reference I could come up with that could possibly prepare you for this album. Not one.

Now, I have seen and heard a lot of disturbing things in my life, but this *has* to have wormed its way to the top of the list.

Yeah, definitely recommended. I can't say I'll listen to this often, but it'll certainly have its place in my collection and I will sure as hell be burning it for all my friends. :)

so i just did the crispin glover youtube run as well, and it turns out that he went to the same elementary/middle school as me. which actually makes perfect sense. he mentioned my old science teacher in one of those letterman interviews.

I have, er, "acquired" the Crispin Glover music CD.  If there are any other potential devotees, give a shoutout and I will share the love.

You will be a part of something special.  I was only able to find 2 seeders on the entire. . .errr, I mean one hip, independent record store in all of, uh, um, Olympia that had it.
