Go see No Country for Old Men AND I'm Not There. I think we're going to go see I'm Not There later tonight after dinner.

No word on Control?  I am a pretty large Joy Division fan.   I might just hold for the DVD.  But gloomy Manchester on the big screen. . .

control got pretty good reviews, iirc. and it's the director's first feature film--he's a photographer and he's done some music videos, and apparently he's pretty good at that. but i'd see ncfom, and i'd compare it with twbb to see which one is going to get the MOTY AWARD (tm).

You need to call it. I can't call it for you. It wouldn't be fair.

I loved Control. If you are a fan of Joy Division and New Order you'll get a kick out of it.

lol. I am guessing you are more of a dreary manchester fim type rather than a disney type.

The control soundtrack is fantastic though, I picked that up the other day. Joy Division covers by New Order (though would it be considered a cover if its New Order? Since New Order is surviving members of Joy Division), David Bowie, and some others.

Fucking I'm Not There, obviously.  I assume that you are at least familiar with the Dylan lore, so that movie should be worth checking out.

But the safe choice I guess is No Country for Old Men.

Joy Division lore is far more interesting than Bob Dylan!

Ehhh...nah.  Joy Division is fuck awesome, but I'd say it's much more interesting watching six different actors take on one man.

Nothing!  I ended up eating a chicken breast, a handful of sesame sticks, and taking a nap while drifting in and out of episodes of Angel.

Don't know what any of those movies are like, but I picked the one with the nicest name, so Enchanted it is.

WTF dude, I'm straight and even I have managed to get invited to a gay couples Turkey Day dinner.

You fail at being gay ... I fail at being straight though :'(

I had invitations.  I just prefer being alone.

If I go out today, it will be to see a movie, but I do not think I will be going out.
