I thought this was better suited to REAL TALK, but if it's actually Gaming Forum material, I apologize in advance.
So I'm in this LJ community where people post about stupid customers. This particular post had me in stitches so I needed to share it with you guys.

Sometimes, names are confusing. I don't expect everyone who comes in to my store to be able to pronounce Daisenryaku, or even Suikoden. I do, however, expect them to TRY get it right, and if I smile pleasantly and pronounce it slowly and clearly for them, to listen to me. Because when you ask for 'Uh, that game, you know, Call of Modern War 4' and I say back very slowly 'Do you mean, Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare?' I don't appreciate it when you roll your eyes at me and say in that tone that means I'm stupid, 'Yeah, that's what I said, Call of Modern War 4! DUH!'
So, dear customer, These are some things we do not sell.
Wee-station
Why-3
Wee-3 [Where the fuck do people get '3' out of 'Wii'?]
Nintendo WiYi
Wiyiyi
A Nintendo [As in, 'Can I get A Nintendo?']
Nor do I sell these items.

Play 3 Station
Sony Three Station
Pee-Three's
Or even,

xBox Three

I also don't stock
Nintendo XP's
DSX's
DSP's
And for those systems, I most certainly don't carry
Guitars 3
Hero of Guitar
Rock Guitar
Guitars Hero
X Guitar Sixty

So when you come up to my register and ask me for any of those things, please be patient with me. It takes me a few minutes for my brain to register those random syllables and words you've yelled at me, and put them in the order of something resembling an actual product. I understand that we have a lot of games and words are hard to remember. But you need to understand that when you insist that a game is called 'Pop Star Academy', that I'm going to be looking for 'Pop Star Academy' even though I don't think it exists, and not 'Sing Star: Pop'.
Thanks,
Your local Video Game Monkey
PS: We're also out of
Assassination Squad
Assassination Crew
Assimilation Cree
Creed of Assassination
[Note: I realize some of these may be minor or trivial, but sometimes even one or two words can mean the difference between two entirely different products. I have dealt with customers who have gotten super frustrated because I can not find the game they're looking for, only to realize far too late that what they've asked for in no way resembles the actual title of what they want.]
