Actually when I went home last year for the first time since coming to Japan, I was wide-eyed at the amount of blubber I saw waddling around in the airport alone....

...and this is coming from a fat guy!  It's just that I'm like fucking skinny in comparison to all these lardos.

I'll leave Tekken out of this, but im REALLY concerned with the apparent leaking of Tekken visual style into Soul Calibur...by that I mean the bizzare wacky neon wtf shit KISS Psycho Circus.

Bob is probably the most awesome Tekken character EVAH. If I get to play 6 soon, Bob will probably supplement my Asuka.

I would have said the Soul Calibur style is leaking into Tekken.

I bet it's not as finger-lickin' good as Otomedius, official arcade game of the year 2007.

It's a good shooter, but not OMG FUCK AMAZING.  I like the older Parodius games more than this.

oh man beaten, I was actually going to make an official Tekken discussion thread.

The local game center did not disappoint; they had two deluxe cabs today.   

There were only a few people there, so I got to mess around with the game.  The guys that were playing on one machine were all using older characters, doing the same old thing to rack up wins against each other.  ZZZZZZZzzzz

So I went to the next machine and played a guy who was using Miguel.  I picked Bob.  He's big and fat, but damn is he FAST...I immediately went and made a game card with him as my character.  He's going to be a big favorite among players, I think.  Then I tried out she-male Leo, who just wasn't meshing with me; should have looked for a move list first, as I just wasn't getting her.  For the record, Eliot from DOA4 looks more feminine than she does.  Zafina felt pretty noob-friendly and I got several wins with her, but ultimately went back to using Bob.  No one there was really doing much competitive play, so I can't say anything about more high level play as I'm very much a casual Tekken player.  I plan on making TK6 my first hardcore game.

Ferrariman, you have good taste in your Tekken characters.  That's what I plan on doing.   

My favorite character in Tekken 2 was Jun, mainly because she was the only character I was halfway good at. I quit the series after Tag because they removed Jun for storyline reasons. Then I heard that Asuka has the same exact play style as Jun, so I got back into the series with 5.

Is it me, or would putting Jun back into 6 make sense with regards to the storyline?
