In their interview in the latest GI, BioWare sort of almost confirms that they are working on a PS3 game, without of course saying what it is. What do you think it is?
Although they point out that they are interested in all systems, they do not mention the Wii.
So what will it be?
Mass Effect port or Mass Effect sequels - Although coded in MS APIs, a port would still be quicker than baking up something new. The purchase by EA means that either a port, or versions of Mass Effect's sequels, can be done without all that much resource strain. Except Orange Box PS3 lols.
Sonic and his Shitty Friends RPG port from the DS version. It would, of course, have to be severely downgraded to run on the grossly underpowered PS3.
Dragon Age is still the wildcard in the BioWare library. Not only can we probably assume that it is no longer PC exclusive as claimed, we can safely say that the PC version is likely not even the main platform. The question is, of course, will BioWare downgrade it enough to run on the ailing PS3?
Madden RPG would fly to the meathead audience that foolishly purchased the PS3 without doing research into which consoles were worth owning this generation. A well done Madden RPG could be the multiplatform game of the generation, even.
Something else or an exclusive? Well, the PS3 might be able to do Infinity Engine ports, or maybe even a version of the original Neverwinter Nights, if you keep the temperature around the PS3 cool enough to handle the 3D output it requires.
