I still need to play the 2nd game. How does it compare to the first one? More of the same or is there enough little enhancements to make it worth a purchase?

The 1st two screens look good but the battle scenes would be underwhelming even for a PS2 game.

It's better gameplay than the first one, but I didn't like the story and characters as much.  Great game, better than the first.
