What would your ultimate bar set up consist of?

A bottle of Tanqueray; love me some Gin and Tonics.
Bottles of chillled Hitachino's White Ale; the only beer I drink.
Belvedere Vodka; only the best.
Grappa; very strong, yet refreshing.
A case of Gewurztraminer
A case of Veuve Clicquot champagne
Lemons for Gin and Tonic of course.
Cans of Ocean's Spray Cranberry Juice

How will your ultimate set up look like?

Powdered Sugar
Cutty Sark Blended Scotch (for whiskey sours)
Grey Goose Vodka (neat)
Pinnacle Vodka (for screwdrivers)
Auchentoshan Single-Malt (neat)
VSOP E&J Brandy (neat)
Gentleman Jack Bourbon (neat)
Fat Tire Ale

All kinds of Absolut, especially Absolut Citron.

All kinds of Smirnoff, especially the classic one with the red label.

Blue Wave, Blue Maui, all kinds of Pucker.

Bailey's Irish Cream, Mint Chocolate whatever, and any other smooth chocolatey-flavored liquor.

Tequila because I've never tried it.

Sweet and sour drink mix stuff.

A sangria wine, white zinfandel, strawberry Arbor Mist, some other yummy wines, and some smooth and awesome Champagne.

Cranberry juice, Diet Pepsi, pink lemonade, regular lemonade, lemons, limes, salt, sugar.


Christmas is coming! :D lol

Not really, actually. I mostly just take shots of vodka. Absolut Citron is probably my favorite.

I just tried vodka + cranberry juice for the first time at a wedding last month, and last weekend was the first time that most of my alcohol came out of mixed drinks (actually one large mixed drink, with like 3 shots of classic Smirnoff, 1 of Absolut Citron, and a bunch of Diet Pepsi).

I've been told it's not ladylike to take straight shots of alcohol. :(

But I'm adding Whiskey to my ideal bar, lol.

Exactly. I wanted to finish off that bottle of Smirnoff so I added it to my soda, and then I thought about the Absolut. When I get Diet Pepsi at a restaurant they put lemons in it sometimes which is yummy, so I thought I'd try some Citron in it as well. YUMMALICIOUS.

Hey MAF is Rum just really potent? I don't know if you read it, but I had some Spice Rum and it fucked me up good :-\

Captain Morgan's Spiced is about 70 proof (35%), so no, not really. :-X

Hmm...Then is there some measure of how much is safe to drink before you end up really f'd up? Because I'm new to alcohol (liquor only, I don't like beer) and I've had some various other drinks and it never effected me like it did the other day. The bottle was less than half full so I thought it was safe to just finish it off, apparently I was wrong :'(

Really depends on the person. Lots of factors like weight, tolerance, etc. come into play. The only way to know how much your body can handle (to be buzzing, not wasted) is to practice.  :lol

Well according to my dad he told me I was in pretty bad shape, he said he was thinking about calling 911 and that if he hadn't got to my apt I would've killed myself. I don't know if he's just exaggerating to get me to stop drinking though. I did bust my bathroom cabinet off though and my knee hurts pretty bad.
