It's NOW being revealed that aparently Jeff had hurt the company and site more than helped it with his "truthful" reviews - so they warned him previously about this - and yet he insisted onward.

Sounds like a certain group of people are gonna be feeling really silly when they find out Jeff is leaving something out... mainly, the truth.

btw, I don't think it makes sense that Eidos in any way told gamespot to fire gerstmann. go to the gamespot site and you'll see (SURPRISE!) no banner ads on the sides. because they had a deal to have K&L there but Eidos pulled out of that. cnet just wants to make an example out of him so it doesn't make sense to censor Eidos or it's games (wtf would they keep advertising on a site that gave their game a low score?) but it makes sense (in gaf sense) to censor cnet sites.

Yeah, I noticed that too... like who really cares, is it that much of a big deal?
