So i'm still playing Etrian Odyssey, and it gives me a wicked hard on for some Eye of the beholder.

Yes, i know its not the first of its kind (that woudl be ultima underworld), but its the one i played as a kid, and i never was able to complete them.  I'd kill for a remake on DS with some kind of mapping function.  Interface would need a complete overhaul though.  They put one of these on snes.....was it the first or second though?

I'm not sure why you'd pick Eye over any of the other zillion first person dungeon games.  Eye of the Beholder, even at its best, was fairly mediocre in comparison to most.  It wasn't a chore to play or anything, but it wasn't memorable enough that I'd want a revival.

I loved EotB as a kid. Especially how you could transfer your party across each game.

Sadly I don't have much desire to play it now.
