Because they made a couple of good albums decades ago and suck tremendously now. Better (best) bands like Iron Maiden have been pumping out excellent albums after 25 years and they don't get any recognition at all.

Eh, I just dont like heavy metal. It's just noise and screaming to me. I am more of a alt/indie rock guy. The "hardest" rock I like is stuff like Rolling Stones.

Maiden has some killer songs, and classic albums, but they're irrelevent because they keep releasing the same shit over and over again - you can spin all you want but the band hasn't progressed much. At least Metallica attempts to try different stuff

I dont know why I even bother but PD, stop making things up. I know you've only heard songs like The Number of the Beast and Fear of the Dark but what you're saying now is straight bullshit. Are you even aware that Maiden is losing some of its original fanbase because they are moving away from their roots lately? God, dont be so dumb. Their latest album AMOLAD is a completely progressive (the metalgenre) album and they played it in its entirity on their last world tour. They are not trying to be some walking museum like Metallica and they keep getting new fans.
